Retention Knobs & Tool Forks

Retention knobs, also called pull studs, screw into the tool holder, and the drawbar in the machine spindle grips the knob to hold the holder in the spindle. Using the wrong pull stud can damage the spindle or the tool holder and is a safety hazard. Make sure the retention knob you order is the exact one your machine uses: match its dimensions and shape, and check it against the print from your machine's manufacturer.
