Brad Point Drills
Brad point drills, also called dowel drills, have a center point and spurs at the outer edge. The point starts the hole on the mark and the spurs cut a clean edge, so they are made for blind holes and dowel holes in solid wood and wood-based panels. On through holes they can break out the back face. For those, use V-Point Drills.
