Flat Shank Knife Blades
Zund EOT, POT, UCT and VCT blades are flat shank blades. Zund's catalog calls its UCT and SCT drag blades flat-stock. Every Zund-pattern blade we make for these tools has a flat shank. So do most of our Colex and Summa replacement blades, our Esko Kongsberg BLD-SF and BLD-DF replacements, and the blades for the MultiCam KH1, KH2, KH3, KH4 and KH20 holders.

Thickness and width decide the holder
Most flat blades are 0.63 mm or 1.5 mm thick. The thickness and the shank width (in brackets) decide which holder takes the blade. On the Esko Kongsberg MP HF knife tool, the adapter also depends on the blade.

Other thicknesses: CZ71 (1 mm) fits the Zund VCT, MultiCam KH20 and Summa 500-9340 to 500-9344. CDF570 (0.9 mm) fits the Esko Kongsberg VI45-16 and VI30-16 V-notch inserts. CT335 (0.4 mm) fits the Colex T00138. Each blade's page lists every tool it fits.
