Bring hand-buffed clarity straight off the CNC. The CLEar Cut™ MCD Polishing Router Bit uses a monocrystalline diamond edge to produce glass-clear finishes on acrylic, PC, PETG, and more—often eliminating flame polishing.
- Depth of Cut (DOC): DOC is the necked clearance length—machine to this depth without the 10 mm shank rubbing the wall.
- Length of Cut (LOC): LOC equals the diamond length, your effective polishing length on the final pass.
- Finish: Mirror-grade clarity with reduced haze and swirl.
- Edge life: MCD wear resistance for long, consistent runs.
- Stability: 10 mm shank for smooth, chatter-free polishing at high RPM.
Suggested use: Run high spindle RPM with light step-over/step-down on a dedicated polishing pass. Use rigid workholding, accurate length setting, and keep chips clear (dry or light mist). Reserve this tool for finishing only.
