Tools to set up your tool holders: adjustable torque wrenches with torque head adapters, hand wrenches for ER collet nuts, and ETP Hydro-Grip torque wrenches. Correct torque on the collet nut reduces collet wear and improves safety by properly securing the cutting tool in the holder. Do not over-tighten nuts, or you may damage the collet or the holder.
Adjustable torque wrenches
Three adjustable torque wrenches: 7.5 to 37.5 ft/lbs (12.5" long), 30 to 150 ft/lbs (16.5") and 45 to 228 ft/lbs (21.5"), each with a 16 mm round spigot for the torque head adapters. They are factory calibrated and certified to +/- 3% accuracy, with an easy-read dial and a pull-release lock. Set the dial to the specified torque and tighten the nut until the wrench clicks.

Collet nut wrenches
Hand wrenches for ER collet nuts: the ER20 A-wrench for hex nuts, ER25, ER32 and ER40 E-wrenches (slotted nut wrenches), and the ER25 M-wrench for mini nuts. The wrench part number for each ER collet nut (except the AirPRO nuts) and each collet chuck is listed on its product page: Collet Nuts, Collet Chucks.
ETP Hydro-Grip torque wrenches
Torque wrenches with a 5 mm hex for ETP Hydro-Grip hydraulic chucks, set to 6 Nm or 10 Nm. ETP recommends its 6 Nm torque wrench for its G3 and Pencil chucks, so every user tightens them the same: Hydraulic Chucks.
