Spoiler Mats

Spoiler mats, also called sacrificial or sacrifice mats, give your CNC router a consumable base that the bit can cut into without damage. The mat sits between the vacuum table and the sheet you cut, and because the foam is air-permeable, the vacuum still pulls through it and holds the part, so a spoiler mat also works as a vacuum enhancement.
