Description
The Vortex INS-8212 is a 3/16" radius solid carbide replacement insert for the Vortex insert round & rout bodies 8210 (1/2" shank) and 8211 (3/4" shank).
Features
- Made in-house by Vortex, with micro-face lapped cutting edges for a very sharp cut
- Seats in the precision pocket of the body for easy installation and repeatable results
- Cuts .010" through 3/4" material and rounds the top edge in the same pass
- Vortex recommends ramping in or starting off the part
- The capture groove of the body keeps the cutting diameter small while giving two cutting edges
- One body accepts all five round & rout inserts
- Held by 67114 screws, tightened with the 7000W T15 Torx driver wrench
